off Somalian coast, no one injured

The ship Andrea Doria is assigned as a Flag Ship to Task Force 508, a permanent SNMG1-born group (Standing NATO Maritime Group 1) under the command of Rear-Admiral Gualtiero Mattesi, involved in the “Ocean Shield” operation to combat piracy off Somalia from last June 14th. Allied naval forces continue operations to prevent and combat criminal activities against merchant traffic in the area.
