Colombia, the RAFC freed collaborator of Betancourt

BOGOTA ‘ – The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (RAFC) have ordered the release of a group of hostages in their hands, including Clara Rojas, who was kidnapped five years ago together with Ingrid Betancourt. This was written by the Cuban press agency Prensa Latina quoted by the Bogota media.

The Cuban agency states that it has received a RAFC statement in which it states: “The order to free them in Colombia has already been given”. Latin Prensa also claims that in the seven-point RAFC communiqué, it is claimed that the guerrilla group “considers this gesture as compensation for the families of the hostages, for (the Venezuelan president Hugo) Chavez and for the senator Piedad Cordoba, whose management in order to obtain a humanitarian exchange was canceled by the Colombian government”.

According to Colombian media, the freed hostages could be Clara Rojas, her three-year-old son Emmanuel, who had a guerrilla in the jungle, and former deputy Consuelo Gonzalez de Perdomo.
